STEVE AND KATHY YOSHIMI

Steve's journey with IDT began in 1994 when Pastor Rance Cook asked him what he was doing with the rest of his life, Steve responded with a six month commitment to come down to IDT México. That six months turned into 18 years! In 1999 Steve met Kathy who had also come to serve as a missionary at IDT Mexico and they were married in 2000. Steve later became assistant pastor to Rance and later the senior pastor for a season as Rance focused on the ministry Prophetic Sword and Comfort Israel. For a time Steve served as senior pastor and president of IDT. The Lord began leading Steve and Kathy back to the states at the end of 2012 and in 2013 God, through HomeStrong USA provided a free home for them in Yucca Valley, California. At that point Rance stepped back in to assume the senior pastor position and director over all ministries. Steve and Kathy are enjoying their new ministry immensely: spending time and planting seeds in their grandchildren. They continue to be a part of the IDT family and help with supply runs and encouraging others to visit for short term mission trips.
