from Lodi, California to start IDT Mexico. The ministry was founded
and based upon Isaiah 58: 6-14, which is our life verse,
not only for us personally, but for IDT as a whole.”
RANCE AND BRANDY COOK
Rance and Brandy are the founders of IDT. In 2016, after over 30 years as the President, CEO and Senior Pastor of IDT, Pastor Rance retired from the leadership of IDT to allow the next generation to rise up and continue his legacy. Rance and Brandy continue to reside in their home in Mexico, a few miles from the IDT Mexico Missions Base in Las Misiones, Baja California with their son Santiago; where they are nearby to share their encouragement, wisdom and experience with us whenever necessary. They continue to operate Comfort Israel, Prophetic Sword Ministries and to pastor Simchah fellowship, their "little country church" as Pastor Rance fondly refers to it, which is attended by our missionaries and many of IDT's spiritual children and grandchildren.

Knowing that we are daily in the center of His will, in His Presence, sharing His good news of salvation and the reality of spending eternity with those who have responded to His knocking at the door of their hearts.
God has taught us many lessons over the years, lessons that have changed and transformed our lives. We have had our good times, difficult times, challenges, joys, pains and sorrows. But keeping our eyes fixed on the One who is our Great Shepard keeps us going and praying to endure to the end.
Our greatest blessing since moving to Mexico, is the gift of our precious son, Santiago, whom many of you know and love. Jesus brought Santiago to us in October of 1999 when he was 6 years old and weighed 14 pounds. The doctors gave him 2 weeks to live. Now, over 17 years later, we thank God everyday for the miracle of life. Santiago has Cockayne Syndrome, a rare form of dwarfism. He is the most loving, caring, sensitive person we know. We will never be able to thank the Lord enough for entrusting this precious treasure in an earthen vessel to us.”
